Sharon MacArthur is a warm and kind-hearted Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner who earned her two Master’s Degrees in Nursing and Public Health, and also her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing at the University of Pennsylvania. She is a recipient of the Penn Nursing Civic Fellows Scholarship. Sharon also did her Nursing Study abroad in Comparative Health Systems at the University of Hong Kong.
Sharon’s work experience includes the Charles B. Wang Community Health Center and the New York Presbyterian Hospital Weill-Conell where she served as a Nurse Practitioner. She had participated as a volunteer in several Non-Profit Health Organizations such as the Pennsylvania Immigration and Citizenship Coalition and One World Foundation and USAID.
When Sharon has a chance to get away, she like to travel. Aside from English, she speaks Cantonese and Mandarin.
SARAH ELIZABETH SHOUSE
Sarah Shouse is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner and a Registered Nurse, who completed her Master’s and Bachelor’s of science in nursing at Pace University. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International, the national honor society of nursing, as well as a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She is certified in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support and the Neonatal Resuscitation program, as her nursing experience is rooted within the neonatal ICU. Prior to joining our MOM family, she worked at Lenox Hill Hospital and Hospital for Special Surgery.
When she isn’t in the office, Sarah loves being active, engaging in activities such as rock climbing or by taking spinning, yoga and pilates classes. She also enjoys the company of her 2 cats, Moby and Mischa, and pour over coffee.
Jo-Ann Lamarre attended Fordham University and Pace University, where she completed her Physician Assistant studies. Prior to joining the Manhattan Cardiology family, Jo-Ann worked as a certified Physician Assistant at Bellevue Hospital Center.
When she isn’t caring for patients, Jo-Ann enjoys reading and spending time with her husband and 3-year-old son. She also enjoys exercising.
Shu Zhu completed both her master’s and bachelor’s degrees at Binghamton University and is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honors Society of Nursing. Shu is certified in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support. She is also a member of the American Associations of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
Outside of work, Shu enjoys traveling, hiking and painting. She has donated her hair twice to cancer foundations for kids, is a registered bone marrow donor and enjoys attending philanthropic events such as Relay for Life.
Arianna is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Florida International University graduating with Cum Laude Honors. She attended the University of Miami for her Master of Science in Nursing. She has a strong foundation of nursing experience working in the Emergency Room at an accredited Comprehensive Stroke Center, Chest Pain Center, and Level II Trauma Center. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). In her spare time she enjoys various workouts such as boxing, cycling, and Crossfit. She also enjoys exploring New York City and trying diverse cuisine.
MARY ELIZABETH KEARNY
Mary Elizabeth (Emmy) Kearney is a certified Physician Assistant who earned her Master in Physician Assistant Studies from Pace University-Lenox Hill Hospital. She is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
Prior to working at Medical Offices of Manhattan, Emmy worked as a Physician Assistant at Mount Sinai West in Internal Medicine where she managed a wide range of medical conditions in hospitalized patients. She brings this experience to the practice in managing various acute and chronic conditions including coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, hypertension, diabetes, asthma, COPD, and infectious diseases.
Outside of the office Emmy enjoys going to see live music, trying new restaurants, traveling, and exploring her neighborhood in Brooklyn.Back to All Doctors
