Janice Cristobal, MD, is a board-certified Family Medicine physician and a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP). She earned her medical degree from the University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center in the Philippines and her undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh, with research experience in Alzheimer’s, Substance Use Disorders, and Childhood Depression. Dr. Cristobal has been recognized with the Outstanding PGY-3 and PGY-2 Resident of the Year awards at Northwell/Northshore University Hospital and is fluent in English, Tagalog, and proficient in Spanish. Inspired by her father’s patient relationships, Dr. Cristobal chose Family Medicine to address diverse health issues and build lasting patient connections. Her approach is compassionate and holistic, focusing on each patient’s unique needs and promoting preventive care. She values meaningful patient interactions and has dedicated the past eight years to serving families in NYC homeless shelters.
