Natalia Beridze, MD is a highly-trained and experienced cardiologist working with patients at Medical Offices of Manhattan and Manhattan Cardiology. Dr. Beridze was drawn to cardiology because of the potential for providing life-saving preventive care, and takes a non-interventional approach whenever possible. Her approach centers on diagnosing potential issues before they occur and managing the major risk factors for cardiovascular disease, such as cholesterol, obesity, and other lifestyle issues. She believes strongly in patient education – not just making recommendations like lifestyle or dietary changes, but helping patients understand specifically how their behaviors affect their heart health and empowering them to make the best decisions to improve their health outcomes and quality of life.
A native of the nation of Georgia, Dr. Beridze obtained her medical degree from David Agmashenebeli University of Georgia (SDASU) in the capital city of Tbilisi. She went on to fulfill a residency and fellowship in Tbilisi before coming to the United States and completing an internship and residency at Montefiore Mount Vernon Hospital in Mount Vernon, New York. Her stateside cardiology fellowship was completed at New York Medical College Westchester Medical Center. Dr. Beridze is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, and Echocardiography, and has been providing expert cardiology care for both hospitals and private practices in New York since 2015. She joined the team at Medical Offices of Manhattan and Manhattan Cardiology in 2022.
