Byasha Jahangir, MD, is a dedicated and compassionate internist who completed her medical education at St. George’s University School of Medicine, followed by training at New York Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center in Brooklyn. She is board-eligible with the American Board of Internal Medicine in 2024 and is an active member of the American College of Physicians and the American Medical Women’s Association. Dr. Jahangir has contributed to medical research with her publication on "Combined Chiari Malformation Type I and Syringohydromyelia in a Patient With Intractable Headache." Fluent in English and Bengali, with limited proficiency in Spanish, she is well-equipped to communicate with a diverse patient population.
Dr. Jahangir’s decision to pursue a career in medicine was driven by her passion for science and a deep desire to serve others. She chose to specialize in Internal Medicine due to its comprehensive nature, allowing her to treat a wide range of conditions and build long-term relationships with her patients.
