Kambiz Shekib, MD is a highly skilled physician with considerable experience, having been practicing medicine for over twenty years. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and has treated patients in a variety of settings, offering both inpatient and outpatient care in private practices and hospitals alike.
Since childhood, Dr. Shekib has been fascinated by science – specifically biology and medicine. He immigrated to the United States from his native Iran in the 1980s and settled in Brooklyn. After receiving his undergraduate education from Yeshiva University, Dr. Shekib completed medical school at the Albert Einstein School of Medicine, attaining his M.D. in 1995. He fulfilled his residency at the Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New Hyde Park. In the subsequent two decades, Dr. Shekib has given care in a variety of contexts, practicing at the New York Medical & Diagnostic Center and the Long Island Jewish Medical Center, as well as eight years at his own private practice in Jamaica, Queens.
Dr. Shekib’s approach to treatment centers on compassion and understanding for each patient’s individual needs. He believes in establishing a real relationship and building trust so that each of his patients is empowered to make the right decisions and get the healthcare they need. Dr. Shekib joined the team at Medical Offices of Manhattan in early 2021.
