You must stop eating solid foods a day before the procedure. You need to drink the preparation for your colonoscopy a day before the prcedure. Four hours prior to the procedure, no food or water is consumed.

Preparation for a colonoscopy is critical to the procedure which may need 3 days prior to your procedure. If your bowel is not sufficiently cleaned out, the doctor will not be able to see what we are screening you for or checking you out for like polyps, tumors, inflammations and infections. Please read your preparation instructions carefully and 3 days ahead of time AT LEAST.
