Joyce Zhao, NP

Joyce Zhao is a board-certified Adult Health Nurse Practitioner. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Hunter College, the City University of New York in 2014. She enjoyed six fulfilling years at the bedside in various specialties including a cardiac unit, a medical-surgical unit, and a stroke rehab unit when she gained extensive experience in managing chronic diseases. Joyce then pursued her Master of Science in Nursing from New York University in 2021. She is fluent in Mandarin and conversational in Cantonese.

Joyce commits to providing patient-centered care by taking individuals’ needs and experience into account. She believes in empowering patients to take control of their health through education, health promotion, and disease prevention. Outside of work, Joyce enjoys singing, digital painting, and reading.
