Only BOTOX® cosmetic is FDA-approved to temporarily improve the look of three areas—frown lines, crow’s feet lines, and forehead lines—in adults. The Look of 3 is a BOTOX® cosmetic treatment of 3 areas, 64 Units, at least 3 times a year. It’s important to space out your treatments at least 90 day apart.  As part of your full face assessment, we’ll see if it’s right for you.

How does Botox work?

BOTOX® cosmetic (botulinum toxin) can successfully reduce the signs of aging by relaxing the muscles that make facial expressions. This is especially true for the muscles around the eyes and brow, which are known for creating dynamic wrinkles like crow’s feet, smile lines, and forehead wrinkles. To briefly stop the nerve signals that tell muscles to tighten (which is what makes lines appear between the eyebrows and forehead), botulinum toxin relaxes these muscles.

How long do the results last?

The neuromodulators in BOTOX® cosmetic usually start to work a few days after treatment, but their full effect doesn’t happen until 7–10 days after the process. The results may vary for each patient and last for 3–4 months.
