Rapid COVID Tests

We are following NY state guidelines related to recent travel.- https://coronavirus.health.ny.gov/covid-19-travel-advisory

If you are coming back from out of state travel (Pennslyvania, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Vermont do not apply) You must present a negative test taken within 3 days of leaving your destination and quarantine for 3 days before being able to test on the 4th day or later.

For any traveler to New York State from a noncontiguous state, US territory or CDC level 2 and higher country, the guidelines for travelers to test-out of the mandatory 10-day quarantine are below:

    • Travelers must obtain a test within three days of departure, prior to arrival in New York.
    • The traveler must, upon arrival in New York, quarantine for three days.

REMINDER: If you are high risk or symptomatic, you will be subject to a virtual appointment and we encourage you to book an appointment for COVID Testing to rule out COVID-19 (need to return to work or school, want to visit relatives but want to rule out to have COVID as an asymptomatic carrier, need for travel).

We also want to remind everyone that even though the vaccine provides very high levels of protection, medical experts do not yet know enough about asymptomatic transmission once a vaccine has been administered. Receiving the vaccine, either the first or second dose doesn't serve as an exemption from the travel guidelines and protocols.

Note: Medical Offices of Manhattan does not test or treat anyone under 18 years of age; This includes all COVID Tests.

Please note – we have been provided feedback that for certain travel a PCR test result is required within 72 hours. The PCR swab that we send to the lab and is covered by most insurances comes back in 1-3 business days. Please check any travel requirements prior to scheduling to avoid any confusion.

2/23- As the New York metro area starts to open up safely, and people begin to plan to attend various live events like sports and concerts, in most cases a PCR covid test is required within 72 hours. Currently, our turnaround time on these tests is 1-3 days from the lab.
