GLP-1 Drugs May Improve Breast Cancer Survival, Lower Risk of Recurrence

GLP-1 medications are increasingly being studied for their potential effects beyond weight loss and diabetes management. A recent study found that GLP-1 use was associated with improved breast cancer survival and lower recurrence risk among people with obesity, type 2 diabetes, or both, though experts emphasize that more research is needed to understand the connection.
