Oriana Santarelli, PA, received her Bachelor’s of Health Science from Mercy College and began her career as a medical assistant in gastroenterology. She also volunteered as a physical therapist assistant and provided care on a medical mission trip and at a preschool during her didactic year in PA school. Oriana earned her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from Mercy College.

After starting her career in surgery at NYP Hospital, Oriana transitioned to focus on prevention, patient education, and building strong relationships with patients. She is certified in nutrition and healthy living, obesity management and primary care, and holds a certificate in Lifestyle Medicine & Wellness. She has also passed the American College of Cardiology’s Certified Cardiovascular Knowledge Examination.

Oriana is currently a medical Spanish adjunct professor at Mercy College. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and practicing yoga.
