Cassandra McCabe, PA, is a NCCPA-certified Physician Assistant dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered primary care. She earned her Physician Assistant degree from Kean University, where she also conducted research investigating the association between academic discipline and psychotropic medication use among business and health sciences students. Her research was recognized with a 2nd Place award at the 2025 NJPAE Research Poster Presentations. Before becoming a PA, Cassandra worked as an EMT, providing emergency care throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, and has volunteered with KEEN NYC, supporting children and young adults with disabilities through recreational and social programs.
Cassandra chose to become a Physician Assistant because it combines her passion for science and problem-solving with the opportunity to build meaningful, long-term relationships with patients. She enjoys the variety and continuity of primary care, helping patients prevent disease, manage chronic conditions, and improve their overall well-being through education and healthy lifestyle habits. Cassandra believes the best care is built on partnership, taking time to listen to each patient's concerns, understand their goals, and create personalized, evidence-based treatment plans. She strives to ensure every patient feels heard, respected, and empowered to take an active role in their health while treating each person with the same compassion and care she would want for her own family.
