Dr. Rija Chaudhary is an Internal Medicine physician who provides primary and preventive care for adults. She is board eligible in both Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine. Her interest in medicine started early, when she watched her father care for patients at his welfare clinic and saw how much his listening and advocacy meant to the people he treated. In medical school, she found she loved both the science of medicine and the human connection that comes with it. Primary care brings the two together. It lets her get to know patients over time, work through complex medical questions, and support them with everything from preventive screenings to ongoing care for conditions like hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol, and anemia.

Dr. Chaudhary's approach is evidence-based but never one-size-fits-all. She believes in shared decision-making, takes time to learn what matters most to each patient, and works closely with other specialists so her patients get coordinated care. Her goal is for every patient to leave feeling heard, respected, and confident in their plan. She also encourages people not to wait until something feels seriously wrong to see a doctor, because prevention and early conversations can make a real difference. Dr. Chaudhary is a member of the American College of Physicians and the American Geriatrics Society, and she speaks English, Urdu, Hindi, and Punjabi.
