Carla Pellegrino, MD, is an internal medicine physician who provides primary care for adults. Her care covers preventive medicine, chronic condition management, and new health concerns. She earned her medical degree summa cum laude from St. George’s University School of Medicine. She then completed her internal medicine residency at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, where she received the Best Clinical Leadership Award. She speaks English and Spanish.

Dr. Pellegrino’s approach is patient-centered and evidence-based. She listens closely, explains options clearly, and involves patients in decisions so their treatment plan is one they understand and feel comfortable following.

She is a member of the American College of Physicians. When her schedule allows, she volunteers at rural hospitals in Peru, an experience that has shaped her commitment to meeting patients where they are.
