Guinness World Records reports that 18-year-old Lalit Patidar from India has 201.72 hairs per square centimeter, covering 95% of his face.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dra. Amy Huang<\/a>, board-certified dermatologist with Medical Offices of Manhattan, told Fox News Digital that the extreme hair growth is the result of a rare medical condition called hypertrichosis, sometimes known as “werewolf syndrome.” Generalized hypertrichosis is an extremely rare type of inherited condition producing aberrant amounts of terminal hairs throughout the body. Medical experts state that the disorder may be hereditary and present at birth. Other skin problems, malnutrition, eating disorders, cancer, or adverse effects from drugs may also cause acquired instances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
